was established in 1973 primarily as a Manufactures representative for Electronic Component manufacturers in the United States looking for sales representation in Canada. After almost 20 years as a Manufacturers representative a decision was made to start stocking product for some local OEM customers who were unable to accept the long lead times from the factory. Thus the "value added process" began and for the past 15 years Semicon Electronics has entered into agreements with various offshore and domestic manufacturers to supply their products in the North American marketplace. Semicon Electronics is currently in a position to provide the selection and reliability that is essential for our customers to meet their manufacturing demands and deadlines.

Semicon Electronic's product base consists of primarily passive components including resistors and capacitors in both through hole and surface mount configurations. As a value added service we also offer lead cutting on radial components for easier hand insertion on the PC Board.
